Ran some errands today and came across this person hanging out of their window. It reminded me of living in the Bronx and how the older ladies in the neighborhood would hang out of their first floor windows, smoking cigarettes and gathering all of the new gossip on the block.
Also made a pigeon friend. 
I read the story about how pigeons were domesticated then we decided we didn’t like them and it made me very sad.
I read the same story! We got the mail service and then telegrams, so they were no longer needed and cast aside. I love them! Both my dad and my grandpa had pigeon coops on their rooftops growing up. I try to make friends with them whenever I go out.
Simone would love to make friends with the pigeons. I wonder does the bird flu infect them? Hey science guy @Jack-o-Kent can pigeons get the bird flu?
