since it was recorded mixed and mastered with modern tools some songs would simply not translate to vinyl… technically the bass is the deepest groove and must be in the center of the mix for vinyl or the needle jumps out. I might do an atmos mix though.

That came from a couple of things… a kind of update to Steely Dan as well as a radical empathy experiment… we all know how terrible humans can be to humans but I imagine we will be even worse to robots so I wanted to subtly implied they had achieved sentience and could have holidays from their job and collectively blow off steam in a professional setting… It might sound titilating but maybe they just did things taht robots find interesting and not human related or relatable in the least. The idea is they might not want anything to do with humans when having a holiday.
